This sculpture is a manifestation of a memory: tenderly holding small creatures as a child and the contrasting disgust of others. In this self portrait, I am embodied in both the slug and the sitting figure. The project was exhibited in Olive Tjaden Gallery in December 2022 for the Cornell Senior BFA group show.
